The below image depicts the temperature based on latitude. The closer the number is to zero the closer you are to the equator. The graph generally shows warmer temperatures closer to the equator, but it seems the highest temperatures are actually around the 20 to 40 degrees latitude. There appears to be a correlation where the further away from the equator the lower the temperatures.
